A method for operating a cryocooler includes: connecting a second compressor in series with a first compressor on a high pressure line or a low pressure line; connecting a buffer volume to the low pressure line via a supply valve; executing initial cooling for cooling an expander from an initial temperature to a cryogenic temperature in a state where the second compressor and the buffer volume are connected to the cryocooler; and executing a steady operation of maintaining the expander at the cryogenic temperature after the initial cooling. Abstract

A superconducting coil device includes a vacuum vessel, a superconducting coil located inside the vacuum vessel, a heat shield surrounding the superconducting coil within the vacuum vessel, and an electric current introduction line for introducing an electric current into the superconducting coil. The electric current introduction line includes an outer current lead part located outside of the heat shield, within the vacuum vessel, and thermally coupled to the heat shield, and an inner current lead part located inside of the heat shield and connecting the outer current lead part to the superconducting coil. The outer current lead part includes a main body serving as an electric current path to the superconducting coil, an insulation layer that covers the main body, and a heat shield layer that covers the insulation layer and has a lower emissivity than the insulation layer.

Abstract

The disclosure provides a control device of an annealing device, which is capable of further suppressing a temperature of a surface opposite to a laser irradiation surface from rising. A beam spot of a pulsed laser beam output from a laser light source on a surface of an annealed target is shaped into a long shape in one direction by a beam shaping optical element. A movement mechanism moves the beam spot with respect to the annealed target. The control device controls the laser light source and the movement mechanism and performs annealing by performing a sweep operation of moving the beam spot in a longitudinal direction of the beam spot with respect to the annealed target while causing the pulsed laser beam to be incident on the annealed target.
