Abstract

The present flow-undisrupted process includes: enclosing a portion of an existing pipe with a sealing case; connecting a boring machine to the sealing case in a non-valve state in which no operation valve is interposed between a projecting pipe portion of the sealing case and the boring machine; forming a circular opening in an area of the existing pipe corresponding to the projecting pipe portion by means of a hole saw of the boring machine; rotating a tee and the boring machine in a circumferential direction of the existing pipe to a position at which the projecting pipe portion is completely past the opening; after the rotation, maintaining a sealed state in which the seal packing prevents a pressure of a fluid inside the existing pipe from being applied to the projecting pipe portion; and removing the boring machine from the projecting pipe portion in the sealed state.

Abstract

An apparatus including: a sealing case having a branch hole formed in a first separate case and extending in the radial direction of an existing pipe; and a rubber packing for sealing a gap between the sealing case and the existing pipe, wherein: the first separate case has a flange for attachment and removal of a boring machine; the sealing case reciprocates in a pipe axis direction; the rubber packing forms: a first sealed area surrounding a portion of the sealing case for shutting the branch hole; a second sealed area being adjacent to, sealed against, displaced from the first sealed area in the pipe axis direction, and sized so as to be able to shut the opening bored by a cutter; and a tolerance space, into which a second seal ring escapes, is formed between a packing attachment groove and the second seal ring.

Abstract

A branching unit for boring without stopping passage of fluid, which is suitable for forming an opening 11 at a pipe wall 12 by boring a part of the pipe wall 12 of an existing pipe 1 using a drill machine 3 having a hole saw 4 to connect a branch pipe to the existing pipe 1, comprising: a sealing case 20 having plurality of separate casing 21, 22 separated in a circumferential direction R and, a branch pipe portion 27 formed integrally with a first separate casing 21 of the casings 21, 22 , protruding and branching off in the radial direction C; a valve body 5, which is arc shaped or circular shape, rotating between an inner circumferential surface 29 of the sealing case 20 and an outer circumferential surface 13 of the existing pipe 1 to open and close a branch hole 28 of the branch pipe portion 27; and a rotation mechanism 50 rotating the valve body 5.

Abstract

A non-bolt joint structure comprising; a packing ring 3 sealing between a receiving opening section 1a and an insertion opening section 2a; an engaging means 11 provided with an inner circumference 26 of the receiving opening section 1a preventing a polyethylene pipe 2 from disengaging from the receiving opening section 1a by engaging with an outer circumferential surface 25 of the polyethylene pipe 2; and a tubular metallic inner core 4 fitting an inner circumference 26 of the insertion opening section 2a of the polyethylene pipe 2, wherein the inner core 4 is plastically deformed to include a first bulge portion 40 that its cross-sectional shape bulges toward an outward radial direction, a second bulge portion 20 is formed so that the insertion opening section 2a of the polyethylene pipe 2 bulges toward the outward radial direction along the first bulge portion 40 of the inner core 4, and the polyethylene pipe 2 is prevented from disengaging by the engaging means 11 engaging with the outer circumferential surface of the second bulge portion 20.
