Abstract

An adjustable buttstock (10) has a front part (12) configured to be attached to a firearm, and a rear part (14) forming a prismatic joint (16) with the front part (12). The prismatic joint (16) has an adjustment axis (18) and allows the rear part (14) to slide relative to the front part (12) along the adjustment axis (18). The buttstock (10) further has a lock assembly (20) that includes a wedge (22). The buttstock has a locked state in which the wedge (22) is releasably wedged between the front part (12) and the rear part (14), preventing a radial play between the front part (12) and the rear part (14), and an unlocked state in which the wedge (22) is unengaged with respect to the prismatic joint (16), allowing radial play between the front part (12) and the rear part (14).

Abstract

A sight system (10) for a firearm (12) is proposed. The sight system comprises: a sight mount (14) configured to be attached to the firearm (12), a first reflector sight (16) mounted on the sight mount (14) and producing a first aim point/image, and a second reflector sight (18) mounted on the sight mount (14) and producing a second aim point/image. The second reflector sight (18) is positioned in front of and aligned with the first reflector sight (16), and the first aim point/image and the second aim point/image are visible through the first reflector sight (16). The firearm (12) has a first mode of operation and a second mode of operation, and: the first reflector sight (16) is calibrated with respect to the first mode of operation, and the second reflector sight (18) is calibrated with respect to the second mode of operation.

Abstract

A sight mount for firearms, consisting of a base plate (101), arranged to be fitted onto a firearm. The sight mount is fitted with integrated and split rings and two top ring halves (106,124) are arranged to attach a riflescope. The sight ring (104,111) is diagonally split (103) and has planar sides in the vertical and horizontal planes as to make visible the visible the adjustment knobs of the riflescope when in a firing position and to visualize parallel reference lines in the environment, thus providing a subconscious perception of the weapons vertical alignment.
