A holster for a handgun having a top portion including a slide that can be attracted by a magnet. The holster includes a holster body that does not lock a handgun therein, having side walls and a top wall together at least partially defining a chamber in the holster for receiving the handgun in a position with the handgun slide adjacent to the top wall of the holster. A handgun locking device on the holster body top wall is engageable with the handgun slide to secure the handgun in a locked position in the holster body. At least one magnet on the holster body is located in a position for magnetically attracting a ferrous portion of the handgun thereby to urge the handgun slide into engagement with the locking device to secure the handgun in a locked position in the holster.
A holster for a weapon such as an electric discharge weapon is made from two pieces joined together to form the holster end wall. The holster right piece has a right end wall part that is molded with both thin wall and also selected thick wall areas that are intentionally molded as thick wall areas. The holster left piece has a left end wall part that is molded to have both thin wall and also selected thick wall areas that are intentionally molded as thick wall areas. When assembled, thin wall areas of the left end wall part overlap thin wall areas of the right end wall part to thereby form a first thick wall region of the holster end wall. A trigger guard stabilizer for a holster provides trigger guard side-to-side support. Because the trigger guard stabilizer is spring-loaded, and can be depressed into a receiving pocket, it automatically moves downward out of the way if a taller light passes over the stabilizer top during a holstering action. Once the light has passed over the stabilizer, the stabilizer springs back into a position with portions that extend on either side of the trigger guard. This helps to hold the trigger guard centered laterally in the holster, thus impeding unwanted access to the trigger.

The belt mount body also includes a forward extension adapted to releasably connect an accessory thereto. The belt aperture is adapted to receive belts of various widths therethrough. The belt sizing insert is arranged in the belt aperture, and includes a planar portion carrying a retaining body extending from a first side thereof and releasably received by either of the first and second belt sizing slots, to accommodate belts of differing widths, and a delimiting portion extending generally perpendicular from a second side thereof. The delimiting portion can thereby form varying predetermined width passageways within the belt aperture.
End plate sling adapter securable to a rifle for a sling, includes a fastener element, sling adapter clamp and locking insert. Sling adapter clamp has a collar defining a central opening extending therethrough, and a pair of fastener housings arranged at respective ends of the collar defining a gap therebetween. Each housing receives a fastener therein such that the fastener extends across the gap and is adjustable to reduce its width. Locking insert has an upper portion with a threaded cradle accommodated within central opening and meshing with a threaded portion of a rifle buttstock receiver extension, and a lower portion extending into the gap.
A portable, tactical building door opener comprises a door opening mechanism comprising: a body; a door opening arm pivotally connected to the body at a first end and having a roller for engaging the surface of the door at a second end; and an actuator for rotating the door opening arm with respect to the body, from a ready position in which the roller is not forced against the surface of the door, to a door-opened position in which the roller is forced against the surface of the door to open the door. The actuator is remotely and manually operable. The device further includes a support for temporarily and removably bracing the door opening mechanism with respect to the door.
An attachment mount and receiver system for attaching articles to a garment. A receiver has openings for affixing the receiver to a support that is then attached to a compatible garment. The mount has openings for affixing an article thereto. A pair of flexible springs permit connected tines to be compressed inwardly, allowing the mount to be slidingly inserted into the receiver. A barb at the end of each tine engages an end wall of the receiver when the mount is fully seated. Tines are compressed inwardly and the mount is withdrawable. Selective locks can inhibit the tines from being compressed. Resistance to prying the mount away from the receiver is also provided.
A belt clamp with a pivotal article carrier attached thereto includes a base and a cover hinged together at the top. The cover includes a passageway at the lower end to accept a barb-like fastener integral with lower end of base to lock clamp closed. A tongue projects inwardly from the cover to contact and inhibit movement of a duty belt inside the clamp. The base includes a pair of intersecting arcuate slots and a reversible insert having one arcuate slot to make the clamp usable by either right- or left-handed users. A movable belt width adjustment bar is mounted inside the clamp to accommodate belts of various widths. Bosses around the lower opening of the cover inhibit twisting of locked clamp to prevent inadvertent opening. A locking plate is provided to inhibit rotation of fasteners used in pivotal mounting of an article carrier to the belt clamp.
An ergonomic duty gear belt for carrying duty gear components having a first curved conically shaped side section and a second curved conically shaped side section pivotably hinged together and a lumbar pad wrapped around the hinged connection of the belt to provide support for the lumbar area of the wearer.
An adjustable and removable rail light mount for attachment to a firearm having a mounting rail includes a rail mount attached to a rail and a light carrier rotatably attached to the rail mount to position a light to the left or right of a firearm by way of an axle carried by the rail mount. The axle fits through the rail mount and the light carrier. Passageways in the rail mount and the light carrier for the axle include grooves that engage detent bosses on the axle to maintain the light carrier in the selected location. Light carrier is removable when it is rotated to a centered downward position.
A protective garment is provided and includes a jacket having various releasably mounted protective components. The jacket includes a protective collar of ballistic resistant fabric for protecting the neck of a wearer and has front and rear portions which are releasably connected together at opposed side portions of the collar so that the front and rear portions can fold down when not in use. A protective plate is releasably fastened to the front of the jacket and the fastening mechanism allows the plate to be held in a number of different vertical positions. The jacket also includes a rear pocket for housing a rear protective plate. The sleeves of the jacket include a sleeve extension which is slideably mounted to the main sleeve to vary its effective length.

A ballistic vest having an articulated body armor component and duty gear support component connected together such that the body armor and duty gear support component each support the weight of duty gear items positioned on a duty gear belt. The body armor component includes a rear panel fastened to the duty gear support component and a front panel attached to the duty gear component such that the front component can articulate over the duty gear portion based upon movement of a wearer.
A deltoid arm protection system for a ballistic vest including an asymmetrical anatomically shaped deltoid cover having fasteners for attachment to a ballistic vest. The deltoid cover is connected to the vest and prevents any gaps forming between the deltoid cover and the vest during arm movement of the wearer. The deltoid cover includes a weapon gripping pad and attachment loops on an outer surface of the deltoid cover.
A head protection system comprises a helmet shell, a visor mounting for pivotally mounting a visor to the shell to enable the visor to be moved between raised and lowered positions, and a retainer for releasably retaining the visor to the helmet. The system includes a visor adapted for mounting on the shell which comprises a substrate of transparent thermoplastic material and a backing substrate comprising a plurality of layers of high performance, ballistic resistant material. The system may further include a second visor which can be releasably connected to the shell using the same visor mounting and which may have a different construction and primary function.
A mounting plate and leg harness assembly for carrying holsterable items having a rigid center portion and vertically disposed sides and two spaced side panels integral with a respective side of the center portion, each side panel having an outside edge, a first pair of vertically spaced elongate slots located adjacent the center portion and a second pair of vertically spaced elongate slots located adjacent the outside edge. Two horizontally disposed straps are threaded through the respective upper and lower slots with the straps spanning the center portion. The side panels are bendable adjacent the respective sides of the center portion to conform the plate to the shape of the leg of a wearer when the straps are tightened. A vertical adjustable strap is mounted to the plate for connection to a belt.
