Abstract

An apparatus comprises a mould part having a forming chamber and a filling device for filling the forming chamber with a mouldable material. The filling device comprises an entry duct for a flow of mouldable material and air and a preliminary chamber communicating with the forming chamber. Abstract

Described is an apparatus comprising: a dispensing device (2) for dispensing doses (D) of polymeric material in a form suitable for compression moulding; a mould (5) for receiving said doses (D) and making concave objects; a plurality of transport elements (7) of respective doses (D), each of which configured for picking up the respective dose (D) from the dispensing device (7) and releasing it to said mould (5); a carousel (8) for supporting said transport elements (7) for feeding each element (7) in an advancement direction (A) and along a closed path (C) passing between the dispensing device (2) and the mould (5), so as to bring the dose (D) to the mould (5); wherein each transport element (7) comprises a wall (9) for engaging the dose (D) rotatably mounted on the carousel (8) between a picking up condition wherein the wall (9) has a respective surface (9a) for contact with the dose (D) transversal to the advancement direction (A) to intercept and pick up the dose (D) from the dispensing device (2), and a condition for releasing the dose (D) wherein the wall (9) is overturned with the contact surface (9a) facing the mould (5) for releasing the dose (D) in the mould (5) by gravity; and wherein it comprises cooling means (11) of each transport element (7) for cooling said transport element (7) at least in a zone (T1, T2) of the closed path (C).

A cutting method and apparatus for closures of the “tethered” type are disclosed, in which a spindle that carries a closure is moved to a cutting device with one or more horizontal blades and at least one vertical or oblique blade. Abstract

A cap for a container is provided and a related method for making the cap. The cap comprises a side wall extending about an axis and a transversal wall arranged at an end of the side wall, a separation line being provided on the side wall for defining: a retaining ring, which is intended to remain anchored to a neck of the container and is configured to internally engage with an enlargement of the neck; and a closure element which can removably engage the neck, so as to open or close the container. The separation line extends about the axis and is circumferentially interrupted so as to leave a joining portion, between the retaining ring and the closure element, which extends circumferentially for a respective angle, the cap further having an incision line which extends transversally to the axis between the separation line and a free edge of the retaining ring, so that two connecting bands are defined between the separation line and the incision line, the two connecting bands joining the retaining ring to the joining portion. The connecting bands are deformable and the joining portion is externally provided with a projection which projects from the joining portion and is positioned between a separation plane in which the separation line lies and the incision line so that, when the closure element is in the open position and the connecting bands keep the closure element connected to the retaining ring, an edge of the joining portion which, in the closed position, faces the retaining ring, is facing, in the open position, towards a rim of the neck and the projection is resting on the neck in said open position.

Described is a system for transferring a dose of polymeric material comprising a head for supplying the polymeric material and at least one conveying device, provided with a conveying wall, which is configured for advancing along a path through the supplying head for transferring to the conveying wall a dose obtained from the polymeric material supplied from the supplying head; and wherein the supplying head comprises a duct which is provided with a straight outfeed region extending along an axis which is configured to supply the polymeric material to a supplying outfeed. The outfeed region comprises at least a first zone and a second zone facing each other, the supplying head having at least one variation configuration in which the first zone and the second zone are asymmetrical to disturb a flow of polymeric material in the outfeed region in such a way as to control the supplying direction of the polymeric material, supplied from the supplying outfeed and to transfer to the conveying wall. A method is also proposed for transferring the dose of polymeric material from the supplying head to the conveying device and a method for supplying the dose.

Abstract

A closing cap for a container includes a separating line on a lateral wall forming a retaining ring, configured to remain anchored to a neck of the container and extending up to a free edge. A closing element is engageable with the neck, to open or close the container. The separating line is circumferentially interrupted to define in the lateral wall a joining zone, extending at a first angle, in which the retaining ring and the closing element are joined. An engagement element of the retaining ring is bent when the cap is closed. First and second incision lines allow deformability of a connecting portion and a region of the engagement element extending at a second angle, so that when first opening the closing element, the region goes beyond the locking ring and deforms to rest on the locking ring in an extended configuration.
