Abstract

Disclosed is an invention relating to a latch apparatus for a vehicle tailgate. The latch apparatus for a vehicle tailgate according to the present invention comprises: A housing having an insertion hole portion through which a striker is inserted into both sides thereof; a driving gear part which is axially coupled to a motor part; a driven gear part provided to be engaged with the driving gear part; a sector cam part which is provided around the insertion hole portion, is provided to be engaged with the driven gear part, and has a cam hole portion on a certain radius of a cam shaft; a claw part which is elastically provided to be coaxial with the sector cam part, has a claw boss portion movably inserted into the cam hole portion, and has a claw restriction portion formed so as to open or close one side of the insertion hole portion; a release lever part which allows the rotation of the claw part as the release lever part is rotated by pressing of the sector cam part and has a first release pressing portion formed on the opposite side of the sector cam part and a second release pressing portion formed on the side of the sector cam part; a pawl part which supports the claw part and rotates according to pressing by the first release pressing portion when the release level part is rotated; a closing lever part which rotates so as to open or close the other side of the insertion hole portion according to pressing by the second release pressing portion when the release lever part is rotated; and a cable lever part which rotates as a cable is pulled and causes the claw restriction portion to open the one side of the insertion hole portion as the pawl part rotates by pressing the pawl part.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a vehicular latch apparatus. The vehicular latch apparatus may comprise: a housing part mounted on a vehicle body and having a movement hole part formed therethrough to guide movement of a striker; a catch part rotatably installed in the housing part and restraining the striker inserted through the movement hole part; a pawl part rotatably installed in the housing part and engaged with the catch part to restrain rotation of the catch part; a cinching driving part rotatably installed in the housing part; a cinching lever part connected to the cinching driving part to be moved by the cinching driving part and convert the state of the catch part into a complete locked state; a sensing part for sensing rotation positions of the catch part and the pawl part; and a control unit for receiving a sensing signal of the sensing part and operating the cinching driving part, so that the latch apparatus can convert a first stage locked state of a door into a completely locked state.

In the present invention, electrical locking and unlocking of a door can be achieved by one power source.
