Abstract

A multichannel manifold cold plate with microchannels for cooling electronics. A main inlet is on a side of the microchannels opposite the cold plate and includes inlet channels with nozzles adjacent the microchannels. A main outlet is on a side of the microchannels opposite the cold plate and includes outlet channels with nozzles adjacent the microchannels. The inlet channels are interleaved with the outlet channels. In operation, the main inlet delivers a cooling fluid to the cold plate microchannels via the inlet channels and nozzles, and the main outlet receives the cooling fluid from the microchannels via the outlet channels and nozzles. This configuration provides a cooling fluid distribution pattern for efficient cooling of the electronics.

Abstract

Curable and cured compositions as well as articles containing the curable or cured compositions are provided. The cured compositions are typically a semi-structural or structural adhesive. Advantageously, the cured compositions can be removed (e.g., de-bonded) from the various surfaces of the articles after the useful lifetime of the articles, to correct misplacement of a part during manufacturing, or to repair the electronic device. The separation step occurs using a direct current electric potential across the cured composition.

Abstract

Systems and methods for transferring learning in sensor devices. Historical time-series measurement samples of one or more parameters associated with a biological function being monitored by the sensor device are received and assigned to clusters. Feature data extracted from the historical time-series measurement samples are used to generate cluster-specific source-domain classifiers for each cluster. Unlabeled time-series measurement samples of the one or more parameters associated with the biological function are received. A cluster-identifier is assigned to each unlabeled target-domain sample, the cluster-identifier including information identifying a cluster-specific source-domain classifier associated with the unlabeled target-domain sample. Labeled time-series measurement samples of the one or more parameters associated with the biological function are received, feature data is extracted from the labeled samples and cluster-specific target-domain classifiers are generated for each cluster based on the source-domain classifiers and the feature data extracted from the labeled samples.

The system further includes a first computing device including a first processor and a second computing device including a second processor. The first processor generates a subscription message including a request to enable the functionality of the article of PPE in response to determining a selection of the functionality. The second processor determines if credentials corresponding to the article of PPE and/or a user associated with the article of PPE are preregistered with the subscription service. The second processor determines a subscription status of the article of PPE corresponding to the functionality. The second processor transmits a configuration message based on the subscription status and preregistration with the subscription service. Abstract

Self-priming adhesive articles include a release liner with a release surface, an adhesion promotion layer on the release surface, and an optically clear adhesive layer in contact with the adhesion promotion layer. The adhesion between the adhesive layer and the adhesion promotion layer is higher than that of the adhesion between the adhesion promotion layer and the release liner, such that the adhesion promotion layer remains adhered to the surface of the adhesive layer upon removal from the release liner. The adhesive articles can be prepared by applying the adhesion promotion layer to the release liner and applying the adhesive layer to the adhesion promotion layer, or by applying to the adhesion promotion layer to the surface of the adhesive layer and then contacting the adhesion promotion layer- coated adhesive layer to the release liner.

A stack of the optical ferrules, each of the optical ferrules including a top surface having attachment areas for optical waveguides, a light redirecting member, and a bottom surface having an exit window. When optical waveguides are attached to the attachment areas, central light rays emitted by the optical waveguides are redirected by the light redirecting member and exit the optical ferrule through the exit window. For each pair of adjacent stacked upper and lower optical ferrules, the exiting central light ray of the upper optical ferrule enters the lower optical ferrule through the top surface of the lower optical ferrule and exits the lower optical ferrule through the exit window of the lower optical ferrule. Each of the exiting central light rays of each of the optical ferrules exits the exit window of a lowermost optical ferrule at a different location.

Abstract

An industrial process design system is presented that includes a process constraint retriever that receives an indication of a parameter constraint for an industrial process. The system also includes a parameter selector that retrieves a set of potential process design parameters for the industrial process. The parameter selector analyzes the parameter constraint indication, and based on the set of potential process design parameters, and constraint indication analysis, selects a next parameter of interest. The parameter selector also generates a constraint query for the selected next parameter. The parameter selector iteratively analyzes received parameter constraint information, selects a new parameter of interest, and generates a new constraint query. The system also includes a process design generator that generates a process design parameter set based on the constraint queries generated by the parameter selector.

Abstract

A system and method of simulating and optimizing industrial and other processes includes a computer that performs multivariate analysis of input variables and output variables to generate a data model of the operation of the process. For industrial applications, the input variables include process variables and the output variables include result variables from the operation of the industrial process. The data model determines contributions to changes in the output or result variables by the respective input or process variables and is provided to a predictive algorithm to identify parameter values for input or process variables expected to have a most significant impact on the output or result variables during performance of the process. The outputs of the predictive algorithm are parameter values that are provided as input or process variables to the industrial process for simulation or performance optimization or product recommendations/optimizations.

Abstract

A shielded electrical cable includes conductor sets extending along a length of the cable and spaced apart from each other along a width of the cable. First and second shielding films are disposed on opposite sides of the cable and include cover portions and pinched portions arranged such that, in transverse cross section, the cover portions of the films in combination substantially surround each conductor set. An adhesive layer bonds the shielding films together in the pinched portions of the cable. A transverse bending of the cable at a cable location of no more than 180 degrees over an inner radius of at most 2 mm causes a cable impedance of the selected insulated conductor proximate the cable location to vary by no more than 2 percent from an initial cable impedance measured at the cable location in an unbent configuration.

Abstract

22=CR4C(O)NHC(R1R1)(C(R1R1))nC(O)XR322=CR4222NHC(O)NHR3; wherein n is an integer of 0 or 1; R1is independently selected from hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, and alkylaryl having 1-10 carbon atoms; R3is a group comprising 1-30 carbon atoms, R433; and X is O or NH; and at least 50 wt.% of (e.g. polymerized units) of one or more other ethylenically unsaturated monomer(s).
